“Strength comes from vulnerability. The wound is the space where the light enters”, the Goddess says.
It took me time to ‘understand’ what those sentences truly meant beyond the concepts.
That required to actually go through the Spiral process, the elliptic dance of the shadows and the light.
The soul path is about diving into oneself, till every cell are seen, till everything is accepted, loved and cared for from within. Till every piece, even the Dark ones, are transformed with the hands of an alchemist into Light.
This, is an in-depth exercice. It requires the willingness of the seeker ones, because it’s saying ‘yes’ to the adventure of self-discovery and to the understanding of our emotional patterns.
It requires to refuse to give up, until things are clear enough to allow the peace of the mind.
The spiral Goddess work requires lots of time and self-compassion.
It can’t be done overnight. A large space of ‘not doing’ must be allowed to make room for the truth to emerge safely.
In that space, we allow the emotions to resurface instead of silencing them.
That happens when we are unafraid to feel.
Allowing the fear, the anger, the sadness, the buried dreams, to come up requires bravery. Sometimes things resurface from the past. The mind says ‘What? That was buried a while ago!’. ‘I don’t want to think about that, let me go back to my daily life’.
It’s hard, it’s messy, the inner shit isn’t beautiful to see. The Spiral dance asks for all of our strenght and fire to get involved.
The mind seeks the beauty within, what’s simple, what’s easy, what’s comfortable – which makes the exercise rough – because that time we want to see it all.
But, THE BEAUTY WILL PRECISELY EMERGE FROM THE ACCEPTED AND UNDERSTOOD WOUND.
It may start with a present situation that aches or seems to hard to handle. But often, there is something behind the pain, something less visible, less accessible.
And when we accept to face that, we are always offered a Gift.
The Gift, is the healing of the wound. It’s the truth unveiled, it’s our naked selves accepted.
The gift, is the radiance of our beings, it’s the radiance of the soul.
That time, we will show a different light than what we are used to. It’s not about taking some outside thing, job, person or situation, and pasting it on our skin.
It’s the beauty that rises from the inner mystery solved. It’s the radiance that soars from the healed suffering.
That seems totally paradoxical. And possibly scary. But the thing with Spirals, is that they always twist and turn again.
Through the ride, no condition is permanent. Dark nights never remain for too long. Each time, the adventure has its reason to be. Which is finding out another piece of ourselves, and rise from a new place of self-acceptance and wholeness.
We will twist from light to dark and from dark to light, till we have learned enough about who we are and how we work.
We will spiral-dance, till we ‘know’ enough about ourselves and feel truly empowered to take up the reins of our lives and shape them in an authentic way.
This, will be true Freedom.
